Dear
Members,
We have organised a very interesting Winter Meeting for you
with a great mix of presentations and trade exhibitors. We
have chosen a City Centre venue again for easy access to transport
links for those travelling from outside Dublin. The location
will give everyone the opportunity to do some Christmas shopping
or to meet up with friends on the Friday or Saturday night.
Our first speaker will be Mr. Phil Lucas, a Dental Hygienist
from the UK. He will introduce us to the new Photodynamic
Disinfection technology available and how we may be able to
use it in our practices to assist with the treatment of Periodontal
Disease. Dr. Mary Clarke will update us on anatomy and the
pharmacology of Local Anaesthesia. This will be a great review
for all of us with the impending introduction of Block Anaesthesia.
Prof. Stephen Flint will speak to us about Oral Cancer, a
topic we always need updating. Prof. Flint's presentations
are always extremely interesting and always provide us with
some new knowledge to take away and use in practice.
The committee would like to thank all of our sponsors for

us to offer it to IDHA Members free of charge. There will
be a fee of €50.
